Student Programs

At the Illinois Holocaust Museum we believe the history and lessons of the Holocaust must engage students in a meaningful dialogue about aligning their actions and their words to build positive relationships and foster social awareness.

Programs such as our Student Leadership Days and Student Contests challenge students to not only find their voices, but reflect on what they can do to make the world a better place for themselves and others. Engaging in transformational educational programs, students are empowered to become advocates for change, and leaders who stress the values of caring, emphasize compassion and responsibility, and are capable of being upstanders for peace, not voiceless bystanders in their own world.

The Museum is closed. We look forward to the near future when we can gather together again. In the meantime, we invite you to explore our website, subscribe to our e-newsletter, and visit our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts for a steady stream of engaging content. We thank you for your continued support during these extraordinary times.
