We are excited to welcome you for your upcoming field trip!
In compliance with new Covid standards and to ensure Illinois Holocaust Museum is as safe as possible for visitors, volunteers, and staff, the Museum will require all teachers, chaperones, and any adults over the age of 18 accompanying school groups to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to enter the building as of January 5, 2022.
Students under the age of 18 who visit the Museum on a school field trip are exempt.
Proof can include a physical vaccine card, a photocopy of the card, a digital record or app on your phone, or a printed record from a vaccine provider. Accompanying adults must show photo identification that matches proof of COVID-19 vaccination. A person is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or after one doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
If you booked a field trip and are unable to meet these new requirements, please contact the Education department at 847.967.4848 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that masks continue to be required for all guests.
As conditions change, we will continue to adapt our safety protocols. Please check our website for the most up-to-date information. More about our safety protocols>>
Thank you in advance for your continued support as we all adapt to current health and safety guidelines. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Field trips offer opportunities to explore our exhibitions that address the history of the Holocaust, genocide, human and civil rights, as well as local and global social justice issues.
