Ivan Sagita ‘Waiting for Death’ (1999)

Through the lens of the Holocaust, the genocides of Armenia, Cambodia, Guatemala, Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur, continue to challenge us to shape our world today.  At the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, we are reaching and teaching today’s generation to prevent the past from becoming their future. By empowering our audience to find their voice and confront hatred and injustice, we believe we can transform “never again” from promise to practice, from hope into reality – change begins with each of us.

Although the Museum is closed for now, we invite you to visit our Virtual Museum and connect with us online! We have a wide range of virtual programs and tours available.
