Ivan Sagita ‘Waiting for Death’ (1999)

Through the lens of the Holocaust, the genocides of Armenia, Cambodia, Guatemala, Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur, continue to challenge us to shape our world today.  At the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, we are reaching and teaching today’s generation to prevent the past from becoming their future. By empowering our audience to find their voice and confront hatred and injustice, we believe we can transform “never again” from promise to practice, from hope into reality – change begins with each of us.

The Museum is closed. We look forward to the near future when we can gather together again. In the meantime, we invite you to explore our website, subscribe to our e-newsletter, and visit our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts for a steady stream of engaging content. We thank you for your continued support during these extraordinary times.
