Virtual Program: Between Devastation and Resurrection: Photojournalism and Post-War Europe

For Grades 7-12

As European countries struggled to rebuild from the destruction of World War II and the Holocaust, photojournalists were key witnesses and documenters of stories of transition, resistance, and survival. In this workshop, explore the work of photojournalist David Seymour (known as Chim) and develop strategies to use photographs as primary sources in your classroom.
