Join Andrew Oleksiuk, the Museum’s Media Technology Specialist for Exhibitions and Events, for a colorful journey through Ukraine’s 1,000-year history to the present day, drawing on Andrew’s expertise as a Ukrainian-American artist and educator.

This visual presentation, illustrated by postage stamps and postal history, will show how Ukraine has always been multi-ethnic and multi-cultural: from its ancient roots in Kyivan Rus’, through the formation of the Cossack Hetmanate, the modern 1918 independence period, and the contemporary period of Ukraine’s independence from 1991.
