Online Lunch & Learn: “Everything’s Kosher”
Join us with director and filmmaker Adam Fried to discuss his up-and-coming film, Everything’s Kosher, a heartfelt documentary that spans countries, generations, and cultures.
A divorced Jewish father from Chicago finds himself living in Germany to be with his only daughter. As he rediscovers his Jewish heritage, he must reconcile with his dying father in order to move forward and break the pattern of trauma and abandonment that has followed his family for generations. Along the way, in his search for peace, love, and pastrami, he attempts to reconnect with family, friends, and faith – and decides to open a Jewish Deli in a small town with a history of antisemitism and Nazi activity during World War II.
