Museum Information

Experience360 is open seven days a week from 10:00am ~ 5:00pm.

The Museum in Skokie is open Wednesdays through Mondays, 10:00am ~ 5:00pm; closed on Tuesdays.

The Museum is also available for private meetings and events.

Adult Group Tour Booking Information

Group tour reservations request three weeks advance booking with a minimum of 12 individuals per group. All Group visits include a docent-led experience and are available during the Museum’s regular operating hours. Discounted rates are available for groups who begin their tour at noon or later.

Begin by submitting a Group Tour Request Form. You will receive an email from the Group Tours Team to discuss your visit. With a date and itinerary established, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Important dates and ways to submit payment will be included.

Group Rates (On-Site Tours)

Groups are more likely to get their first choice of date and receive discounted rates when their tour begins at or after noon. Mornings are often booked with large field trip groups. 

One group leader and one bus driver (if present) will be admitted for free. All rates are per-person and include taxes & fees.

Group Rates (Virtual Tours)

Virtual Group Tours are 1 hour in length and include a docent/host who will provide a short introduction and facilitate a Q&A session at the conclusion of the tour. You may choose to host your virtual tour on your organization’s platform, such as Zoom, or have the Museum host your virtual tour with IT support. Currently available topics are available here (filter for “virtual”).

  • Client-Hosted Virtual Group Tour: $250 
  • Museum-Hosted Virtual Group Tour: $500 

Payment & Cancellation Policies

A 50% deposit is due one month ahead of your tour, or at time of booking if your tour is in less than one month. The final headcount and final payment are due one week ahead of your tour. Payments can be made in the following ways:

Purchase orders are not accepted. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your tour, contact Group Tours immediately at grouptours@ilhmec.org or 847.967.4875. A full refund will be issued if the tour is canceled with at least three weeks’ notice. Cancellations with less than three weeks’ but more than 10 days’ will not be refunded their Deposit. However, they may choose to have their funds applied toward a future booking for the same organization to take place within 6 months of the originally scheduled date. Refunds are not made for cancellations within the final 10 days of the visit.”

Accessibility & Amenities

Complimentary coat check is available. There is free Wi-Fi inside the building, and photography is allowed in most areas unless otherwise noted. 

Wheelchairs are available at not cost on a first-come, first-served basis. An elevator is available on all public levels of the Museum. Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome. If additional accommodations are necessary, please contact the Group Tours team at grouptours@ilhmec.org or 847.967.4849.

Skokie Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center Parking and Directions

Free parking is available for cars and buses in our west lot. You can download driving & parking information before your visit, as well as a printable map of the Museum (Español).

Buses, ride shares, and drivers should drop off guests on the east side of the building (facing I-94).  Pull into the driveway on the north side and continue around the building to the east side.  Drop off guests in front of the gray doors. 

Bus parking is on the west side of the building, across Woods Drive. 

Buses, ride shares, and drivers should pick up guests on the east side of the building, in front of the white doors. 

All group tour guests must enter the main entrance and proceed to security. Purses, handbags, and backpacks are welcome but will be x-rayed and subject to search. Please do not bring luggage.

Meal Offerings (Skokie Only)

Whether your group is coming from another venue, spending most of the day at the Museum, or on a tight schedule, add to the authentic experience by dining on Chicago deli food from a favorite local venue. Can you please send her instructions for how to access her Outlook account.
