Memory., features powerful collaborative artworks by survivors of the Holocaust and 7 other genocides, showcasing more than 50 personal artifacts brought to America as families fled persecution and war.
Join Illinois Holocaust Museum & Navy Pier for an online “lunch & learn” program about the role of memory and remembrance in the aftermath of atrocity with:
- Jim Lommasson, award-winning photographer of artworks featured in Stories of Survival
- Ralph Rehbock, Holocaust Survivor and contributor to the exhibition
- Dr. Daniel Aschheim, Deputy Consul General of Israel to the Midwest
- Moderated by Arielle Weininger, Chief Curator of Exhibitions & Collections, Illinois Holocaust Museum
The conversation will focus on the panelists’ incredible personal journeys and the remarkable collaborative storytelling experience behind the exhibition.
