On-site field trips are available for groups of 10 or more for students grades 7 and up. The maximum number of students depends on the type of field trip, and group sizes range from 10–80 students.

See available Field TripsThe Museum also offers virtual field trips, allowing educators from around the world to provide an interactive learning experience online. The Museum’s virtual field trip experiences are meant to be used either in a virtual classroom or watched individually by students.

Step 1: Choose Your Field Trip
Choose from on-site or virtual field trip experiences. For virtual field trips, choose the day you would like to receive the virtual asynchronous field trip link and your preferred date for a virtual live Q&A with a docent or a live speaker (if applicable).
Step 2: Choose Your Date
In order to accommodate your request, please select three dates. Availability is updated weekly. Field trips are 2 hours and 15 minutes. We require a minimum of three weeks’ notice for booking. Please allow 5 business days for the Museum to confirm your booking.
Step 3: Plan Your Day
For on-site field trips, please review the policies listed below. For virtual field trips, prepare your students for our asynchronous virtual field trip with pre-visit activities. Please make sure you have your virtual link for your live Q&A with a Docent or live speaker (If applicable).
Step 4: Maximize Learning
Check out our virtual online resources for an in-depth look into the topics of the Holocaust, genocide, social-emotional learning, and civic education. Request a Virtual Teaching Trunk to supplement your field trip.
