Download the Museum’s audio guide on your smartphone for a self-guided experience featuring stories from Chicagoland Holocaust Survivors. The audio guide is available for both Zev & Shifra Karkomi Holocaust Exhibition and Take a Stand Center.

Audio guides are available in English, Spanish, French, Polish, Hebrew, Japanese, Ukrainian, and Russian languages.

How it Works

You may download the app before your visit, or when you arrive. There is FREE WiFi available in the Museum.

  • Open the App Store or Google Play app.
  • Search for “Illinois Holocaust Museum.”
  • Download the Museum app.
  • Open the Museum app and download your desired tour.
  • Once you are in the Museum, begin your tour of Karkomi Holocaust Exhibition or Take a Stand Center.

The Museum also offers educational activities for school groups and the general public. These prompts invite participants to delve deeper into Survivor stories, what it means to be an Upstander, and themes of resistance and survival.
