On-Site Program: Building Resilience Through Trauma – A Conversation with Survivors of the Holocaust

December 5, 2023 | 12:00pm CST

9603 Woods Drive, Skokie, IL 60077

At the end of the Second World War, Holocaust Survivors were faced with the task of rebuilding their lives.  How might we learn from the lessons they have to teach to us and apply them to the present day? Join Illinois Holocaust Museum as we learn from Survivors Marion Deichmann and Lin Novitsky, both offering a unique perspective on the concept of resilience and hope before, during, and after trauma. The event will be moderated by Dr. Joy Miller, Member, Museum Board of Directors and CEO/Director of Joy Miller & Associates and Resiliency Productions, the largest global resiliency event.

This program is part of the Museum’s “Understanding & Confronting Anti-Jewish Hate” community series.

Reservations required. Free to the public.
