On-Site Live Performance: The Holocaust and the Human Experience: A Cinematic and Musical Journey
Acclaimed concert pianist Dr. Marvin Berman presents a live performance featuring clips from films about the Jewish experience prior to, during, and after the Holocaust, as well as piano improvisations of the films’ musical scores. Dr. Berman’s performance pulls from an array of emotional cinematic treasures, including excerpts from Sophie’s Choice, Europa Europa, Life is Beautiful, Enemies – A Love Story, Music Box, and Schindler’s List. He will also share his commentary and highlight his inspirations for each piece in a post-concert Q&A.
