School Field Trips

Teachers and administrators of accredited K-12 day school groups can learn more about scheduling a field trip online.

Public Drop-In Tours

Docent-led tours of the Karkomi Permanent Exhibition are available to Museum visitors on a drop-in basis. Tours last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

A maximum of 15 people will be accommodated during each time slot. No reservations – tours are "first-come, first-served." Free with Museum admission. Groups of 20 or more can schedule private group tours.

Drop-In Tours are Saturdays and Sundays : 11:30 AM  and 1:30 PM

*Note: The following public drop-in tours have been cancelled: Saturday, February 4 (11:30 a.m.); Sunday, February 5 (all tours)

Private Group Tours

IHMEC strongly recommends self-guided tours for adults due to the design, content, and layout of the Karkomi Permanent Exhibition. Reservations are not required. However, docent-led group tours are available by request for interested groups of 20 people or more.

Self-Guided Tour Groups

Groups not requesting a docent are welcome to enter through general admission without a reservation. Group members pay general admission rates. If preferred, groups can order tickets in advance through our online ticketing system.
