Tour Request Form
REGISTRATION PROCESS

A completed form must be received by our Education Department in order to process and confirm your request. You will receive confirmation of your registration within 2-3 weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: Your group tour date is not confirmed until you receive an official confirmation letter.

Filling out a request form does not guarantee a docent-led group tour.

Request forms are processed in the order in which they are received and according to availability. We will try our best to fill your request but cannot make any guarantees. Please provide us with at least three weeks’ notice in advance of your requested date.

Visitor Information

Note: Maximum group size: 60 visitors (age 12 and above) or 40 visitors (age 8-11).
Because groups are scheduled by size, please select the range of visitors you anticipate having in your group, including any medical aides.
   
 

Visitor Breakdown

Please provide exact numbers in order for us to process your request. If you have additional visitors you wish to add to your group, within your group’s size range, you may do so up to two weeks in advance of your tour.

The group tour fee is $15/person, which includes general admission. Please note that we do not offer refunds for absentees or reduced numbers after confirming your tour.

Time and Date of Visit

Although we would like to give all groups their first choice, it is not always possible. Request forms are processed in the order in which they are received and according to the availability of entrance times and gallery space.


Group tours last approximately two hours, depending on the size of the group.

 

June 16 – January 31:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

February 1 – June 15:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

*Final group tour of the Permanent Exhibition begins two hours before Museum closing.

IHMEC Information

Are you interested in having a member of our Speakers' Bureau talk to your group before or after your tour?
Note: The fee for an in-house speaker is $100. Speakers are available on a limited basis according to their personal schedules and the Museum’s room availability.

Payment Information

Once your tour is confirmed in writing, IHMEC requires payment in full in order to hold your tour slot. The Museum will hold your slot for 14 days following tour confirmation. If payment is not received within that time frame, the tour slot will be released for other groups.

Please do not call or mail in your payment until you receive an official confirmation letter.
