Circle of Life Program
Children approaching their Bar or Bat Mitzvah can learn about the Holocaust from a unique and personal perspective - through the eyes of a child who lost his or her life during the Holocaust.
Each participant is twinned with a specific child victim. They are encouraged to learn about Jewish life before the Holocaust and attempt to understand what it meant to be a Jew during the time of persecution. The Circle of Life is a special act of remembrance that offers an opportunity to connect with the past on a personal level.
To register to be a part of the Circle of Life program, please submit this form at least 30 days before the Bar or Bat Mitzvah. For more information, please call 847.967.4800.
