Kelley Szany recieves 2008 Goldsmith Award

Jewish Federation of Greater Chicago

On September 18, 2008, at the Annual Meeting of the Jewish Federation of Greater Chicago, Associate Director of Education, Kelley Szany was honored with the 2008 Samuel A. Goldsmith Award.  The award is given annually to a leader in the Jewish communal organizations who exemplify the passion and dedication of young professionals.  For seven years, Szany's has been committed to increasing opportunities for school children in Illinois to meet Holocaust survivors, both in the museum or in their schools, and thereby fulfilling the museum's mission to educate students who can maintain the idea of "Never Again."
