How to Get Involved
- Attend quarterly HRC meetings
- Join any of our four committees
Education Committee - Help plan our educational events that occur throughout the year. Past events include speakers such as Mark Hanis, John Prendergast, Alex Kotlowitz, and Deborah Lisptadt.
Outreach Committee - Organize our social events for the year, helping to increase community awareness of HRC and draw more members to the group. This committee also works on community service projects.
Fundraising Committee - This year, we are working on a calendar comprised of survivors recipes. The calendar will also feature Generation to Generation pairs. The cookbook is a vehicle for documenting something that we all have in common – the culture of food that embraces our traditions and values. The calendar will be a 16 month calendar, starting with the 2009 High Holidays and will run through the end of 2010.
Generation to Generation Committee - Serve on the committee that runs the Generation to Generation program, which pairs a young leader with a Holocaust survivor.
