2013 Humanitarian Awards Dinner

2013 Annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner

Join us and over 1,700 supporters, Holocaust survivors, business and civic leaders, and elected officials who will attend our 2013 Humanitarian Awards Dinner.  Funds raised will be used to support the Museum’s mission to honor the memories of those lost in the Holocaust and teach universal lessons that combat hatred, prejudice and indifference.

Last year we presented JMB Realty Corporation President Neil Bluhm, McDonald’s Corporation President and COO Don Thompson, and Northern Trust Chairman and CEO Rick Waddell with our 2012 Humanitarian Awards for their steadfast commitment to fighting intolerance in the world. Michael Rubinstein received our Community Leadership Award in appreciation for his years of service to the Museum, both as a member of our Executive Committee and Co-Chair of our Education Committee.  We were pleased to present our Inaugural Power of One Award to Shelley Nizynski Reese, founder of A Better Life for Kids and Midian Education Support. The highlight of the evening was Secretary of Defense (2006-2011) Robert M. Gates’ keynote address.  His discussion of foreign policy as it relates to the situation in the Middle East made a lasting impact on all in attendance.

Stay tuned for this year's honorees.  For more information call 847-967-4821
